Introduction
M86 is a double-balanced mixer designed for commercial and test equipment applications. The design incorporates a Schottky quad ring diode along with broadband soft substrate and ferrite baluns to achieve excellent performance. Since the IF port is DC-coupled to the diodes, the mixer can also be used as a phase detector and/or biphase modulator. Internal high-temperature solder and soldering assembly processes make it well suited for manual and semi-automatic assembly.
