The MLP71xx series limiter diodes are specially processed PIN diodes with a thin intrinsic region, designed for passive or active limiters operating from 100 MHz to above 20 GHz. Different "I" region thicknesses and capacitances provide variable threshold levels, leakage power levels, and power handling capabilities. This rugged device is capable of reliable operation in commercial and industrial applications. The MLP71xx series is designed for receiver protection applications.
