Introduction

Atmel ATA5749 is a fractional-N PLL transmitter IC for 300MHz to 450MHz operation, specifically targeting tire pressure sensors, remote keyless entry, passive entry, and other automotive applications. It supports data rates up to 40kbit/s under Manchester encoding, suitable for ASK and FSK modulation, with a typical current consumption of 7.3mA at 5.5dBm output power. Transmitter parameters such as output power, output frequency, FSK frequency deviation, and current consumption are all programmable via SPI interface. This fully integrated PLL transmitter IC simplifies RF PCB design and achieves extremely low BOM cost.
