Introduction

The X3C19P1-05S is a low-profile, high-performance 5dB directional coupler in a novel, easy-to-use, manufacturable surface mount package. It is designed for DC, WCDMA, LTE, and PCS applications. The X3C19P1-05S is particularly suited for non-binary splitting and combining in high-power amplifiers — for example, used with a 3dB coupler to achieve three-way power division — and other signal distribution applications requiring low insertion loss. It can be used in high-power applications up to 70 watts.

The component has undergone rigorous qualification testing and is manufactured using materials with coefficients of thermal expansion matched to common substrates such as FR4, G-10, RF-35, RO4003, and polyimide. The product is manufactured with RoHS-compliant 6/6 immersion tin plating.
