Introduction

The 5 GHz omnidirectional antenna system is constructed from UV-resistant fiberglass and comes standard with an all-stainless-steel mounting bracket. It features an N-type female panel connector. An N-type male connector for direct device mounting is also available as an option. The horizontal radiation pattern is a full 360°, with gain flatness better than 2 dB. A ventilation design at the base of the antenna prevents moisture accumulation inside. The antenna is DC-grounded for lightning protection.

12 dBi antenna gain, integrated N-type female panel connector, rugged, lightweight, and weatherproof. N-type male connector also available. All-stainless-steel bracket provides superior corrosion resistance. Wider mounting straps and larger base diameter offer improved stability. Extended connector shroud and longer N-type connector make weatherproofing easier and more reliable. Suitable for 5.4 to 5.8 GHz ISM band applications, base station antennas, 802.11a wireless systems, point-to-multipoint systems, wireless broadband systems, WLAN access points, mesh networks, and WiMAX.
