Introduction

AA.170 Magma magnetic mount external antenna is designed for rugged, low-profile installations requiring high durability and compact dimensions. This low-profile antenna is tuned for stable operation across GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, and BeiDou bands. Its axial ratio of 3 dB on the primary GPS band indicates good right-hand circular polarization (RHCP) characteristics, contributing to improved positioning accuracy and acquisition speed in GNSS systems. The standard cable and connector configuration is 3m RG174 with SMA(M). A front-end SAW filter reduces out-of-band interference from nearby RF transmitters, helping to prevent LNA compression and burnout. The Magma antenna is manufactured at a Tier 1 TS16949-certified automotive facility, with full PPAP and IMDS documentation available. Cable length and connector type can be customized upon request. An adhesive mount version is also available upon request.
