Introduction

Nine field-adjustable models cover the 25–108 MHz frequency range with 2 dB gain. These half-wave end-fed antennas ensure better omnidirectional coverage and maximum radiated RF output. The vertical element tapers seamlessly from 1-inch (2.54 cm) tubing at the base to 1/2-inch (1.27 cm) tubing at the top. The adjustable element section is secured by a full-compression stainless steel clamp. The rugged Ringo antenna can be tower-top or side-mounted and features direct DC grounding to reduce static buildup and lightning strike risk. The heavy-duty BR series is a robust antenna for the most demanding applications. Three field-adjustable models are available covering 25–50 MHz with 2 dB gain. These half-wave end-fed antennas feature a low radiation angle for better omnidirectional coverage, along with a capacitive stub and external toroidal matching system to ensure maximum RF output. The base section uses double-wall seamless tubing. The adjustable element is secured by a full-compression stainless steel clamp. Teflon feed insulators make the Ringo antenna well suited for high-power paging and other continuous-duty applications. They can be tower-top or side-mounted. Typical Ringo antenna common specifications include: nominal VSWR of 1.5:1; elements of 6063-T832 aluminum tubing; and pipe-end mounting. Heavy-duty Ringo antennas use a Teflon "dielectric connector."
