Introduction

The PDM24499 antenna is a dual-band, 4-port directional antenna designed for 802.11n MIMO applications. It features two vertically polarized ports and two horizontally polarized ports, engineered to leverage polarization and spatial diversity to enhance coverage in obstructed environments. The antenna is housed in a compact, low-profile polycarbonate radome with adjustable arms for wall/pole mounting, allowing directional adjustment to fully utilize the antenna's directionality. Its radiation pattern is uniform and symmetrical, delivering high signal density within a defined coverage area. This antenna significantly improves the performance of 802.11n systems where physical obstructions are expected. Its dual-band coverage means a single antenna type can be deployed with any MIMO radio operating in the 2.4-2.5 GHz and 4.9-5.95 GHz bands.
