Introduction

SKY66188-11 is a high-linearity power amplifier featuring fully matched input/output and high gain. This compact 5×5 mm PA is designed for FDD 3G/4G LTE small-cell base stations operating in the 758~803 MHz band. It integrates an active bias circuit to compensate for PA performance variations due to temperature, voltage, and process changes, along with an internal coupler for power monitoring. The SKY66188-11 requires minimal external components and is part of a family of high-linearity, pin-compatible PAs supporting all 3GPP bands. The PA incorporates all necessary RF matching and DC bias circuitry. This two-stage device is optimized for high linearity and power efficiency, making it suitable for wideband applications where PA linearity and power consumption are critical. Designed for standard WCDMA and LTE modulated signals, the device demonstrates excellent spectral purity and power efficiency under these stringent test conditions.
