Introduction

The AVA-2183+ is a GaAs pHEMT MMIC amplifier operating from 2 to 20 GHz. At 10 GHz with a +4V supply and 210 mA current consumption, the amplifier delivers typical performance of 16.4 dB gain, 5.2 dB noise figure, +19.3 dBm output power at 1 dB compression, and +24.7 dBm output third-order intercept point. This MMIC amplifier is housed in an industry-standard 4×4mm, 20-lead QFN package. The RF ports are internally matched to 50Ω for easy integration into microwave systems.
