Introduction
Qorvo's QPA0812 is a packaged high-performance power amplifier fabricated using Qorvo's QPHT15 (0.15 µm) pHEMT process. The QPA0812 covers the 8.5–10.5 GHz frequency band with a saturated output power greater than 1 W, a large-signal gain of 24 dB, and a power-added efficiency of 48%. It is housed in a compact 4 x 3 mm plastic overmolded QFN package, readily meeting the tight grid pitch requirements of phased array applications. The RF input and output ports are matched to 50 Ω with integrated DC-blocking capacitors.
