Introduction

The SE5023L is a 5GHz power amplifier delivering high linear power for WLAN applications. The device features high integration to simplify design, thereby reducing time-to-market and improving production yield of application boards. It integrates all matching components, a temperature-compensated and load-insensitive power detector with 15dB dynamic range, and a 3.8GHz notch filter. For WLAN applications, the device meets IEEE 802.11ac and 802.11n standards, delivering approximately +24dBm 802.11ac output power or +26dBm 802.11n output power from a 5V supply. The power amplifier can be enabled or disabled simply by applying a 2.85V reference voltage at the VREF pin.
