Introduction

CMA-84+ is a wideband amplifier offering high dynamic range. It features a patented transient-protected Darlington configuration and is fabricated using InGaP HBT technology. The MMIC amplifier is bonded to a multilayer integrated LTCC substrate, then hermetically sealed in a controlled nitrogen environment with a gold-plated lid and eutectic Au-Sn solder. Terminal finish is Ni-Pd-Au. Lot-to-lot performance repeatability is ensured through tightly controlled semiconductor and assembly processes. These amplifiers meet applicable requirements and have passed hermeticity testing.
