Introduction

TRF1305B2 is an ultra-high-performance closed-loop dual-channel RF amplifier with an operating bandwidth from true DC to beyond 6.5GHz. The device delivers outstanding performance for driving high-speed, high-performance ADCs through DC- or AC-coupled interfaces, such as the ADC12DJ5200RF and ADC32RF5x. The amplifier is optimized for RF, zero-IF, complex-IF, and high-speed time-domain applications. The device is optimized for performance at preset gain configurations. For gain below the preset level, use external resistors.

TRF1305B2 features a VOCM pin that allows configuration of different output common-mode and input common-mode voltages (e.g., for level shifting or most IQ downconverter ADC interface applications with different DC common-mode voltages). The device operates from a dual-rail floating supply (selectable dual-supply or single-supply configuration) and includes a MODE pin to extend the input common-mode range closer to the supply rail. Its high channel-to-channel isolation makes it suitable for complex IQ transmit or receive signal chains without compromising signal integrity.

TRF1305B2 supports independent shutdown of each channel. The device is fabricated using a proprietary advanced BiCMOS process and is available in a space-saving 2.5mm×3.0mm, 16-pin WQFN-FCRLF package.
