Introduction

ARW621A is a wideband, high-linearity, high-accuracy, fast-switching, bidirectional, low-cost 6-bit digitally controlled attenuator operating up to 6 GHz. The device supports serial, direct parallel, and latched parallel attenuation state configuration. The input 0.1 dB compression point reaches 31 dBm, insertion loss is less than 2.5 dB at 4 GHz, and switching time is less than 275 ns. The attenuation range is 31.5 dB with a minimum step size of 0.5 dB. At 6 GHz, attenuation error is within ±(0.15 + 5% of set value) dB. The device is housed in a QFN 4×4 mm small-form-factor SMT plastic package with pin compatibility with PE4312.
