Introduction

PLA170 is a single-pole normally open (1-Form-A) solid state relay that uses optically coupled MOSFET technology to provide 3750 Vrms enhanced input-to-output isolation. Its optically coupled output utilizes the patented OptoMOS architecture, controlled by a high-efficiency infrared LED. The PLA170 is designed as a drop-in replacement for electromechanical relays, offering the high reliability associated with solid state devices and bounce-free switching in a more compact SMT or through-hole package.
