Introduction

The FB Series relays are advanced solid-state bidirectional relays designed for high-speed switching in automatic test equipment systems. These devices utilize advanced solid-state circuit technology and manufacturing processes to deliver high reliability, low lifecycle costs, and superior switching performance. Each model is distinguished by its switching function: the FB00FC is a power instrumentation relay featuring low on-resistance and low leakage current; the FB00KB is a high-voltage instrumentation relay rated at one-quarter ampere; the FB00CD is a power relay rated at 1 ampere with an on-resistance of 0.4 ohms. These solid-state relays feature extremely fast turn-on time (below 1 ms) and can be controlled and adjusted via input current to meet specific requirements. Additional features include optical coupling and a full-temperature operating range for extreme applications. Optical coupling minimizes EMI generation and isolates and protects sensitive input logic circuitry from output voltage transients. These devices are housed in a low-profile metal 6-pin mini-DIP package with hermetic sealing, featuring a 0.300-inch centerline pin spacing for standard mounting configurations.
