Introduction

SRC Devices offers a variety of molded SIP relays to meet customer application requirements. The DSS4 relay, developed several years ago, has been the relay of choice for modem off-hook switching applications and general-purpose use. The SIL4 is the first in a new line of molded products and is well suited for high-reliability applications. At its design core is a patent-pending process designed to protect the sealed reed switch. When properly protected, reed switches outperform most other electromechanical switching devices in terms of service life (at low signal levels), isolation, low resistance, and low operating power. The high-performance MVS4 and MSS4 models offer bounce-free operation and provide more durable contacts when switching capacitive or inductive loads. Both models are capable of switching loads up to 50 watts.
