Introduction

The push-to-test pilot light features a patented built-in design for instant bulb status inspection without removal from the assembly. A patented shutter dimmer allows operators to adjust indicator brightness by rotating the knurled cap to suit varying lighting conditions. Standard dimming action is clockwise; counterclockwise dimming action is available on special order. The push switch (4-terminal assembly) is suitable for remote control applications. Pilot lights are available in sub-miniature, miniature, and large sizes for 15/32", 5/8", and 1" clearance mounting holes, respectively. Lens color is designated by a specific digit in the part number, with red as the default; alternative colors can be selected by changing this digit. Assembly materials include black anodized aluminum mounting bushings and nuts, white nickel phosphor bronze internal tooth lock washers, and hot-dip tinned brass terminals. The "Push to Test" legend is stamped on the flange nut of 3-terminal units only.
