Introduction

JKL's UL-listed Alumiline ZWF series LED light bars are commonly used in signage, architectural accent lighting, display case illumination, and decorative lighting applications. This series is slimmer and lower power consumption than the ZAF Alumiline series, featuring dust and water resistance with an IP67 protection rating. The Alumiline ZWF series is available in two color temperatures. Five length options are offered: 337mm, 438mm, 638mm, 939mm, and 1239mm. The design allows fixtures to be linked together using jumper connectors rated at a maximum of 5.0 amps, available in four lengths: 175mm, 200mm, 400mm, and 915mm. ZWF light bars operate on 24 VDC power, with a typical power requirement of 3 watts per linear foot; the longest unit (1.2 meters or 4 feet) draws 480mA. The input connector (ZWF-1000-I) plugs into the light bar and connects to the 24 VDC power supply via wire nuts, rated at a maximum of 5.0 amps and capable of connecting up to 12 meters (40 feet) of LED light bars without overheating. Disconnect power before installing or servicing the fixtures. The ZWF series LED linear light bar connectors carry an IP67 rating and support daisy-chain connections; where additional spacing between units is required, jumpers (available in 8-inch, 16-inch, and 36-inch lengths) can be used for interconnection. The power input connection includes 1 wire for remote power supply placement, and the connectors linking fixtures can be disconnected by pressing the black tab and pulling. ZWF fixtures feature mounting holes for easy installation; in environments with strong wind or vibration, optional mounting clips are recommended for additional support, using #8 screws during installation. Optimal dimming is achieved using PWM (such as the ZDM-01), which maintains power to the ZWF Alumiline while the dimmer adjusts light output by varying the LED duty cycle.
