Introduction

The EA DOGM128 is a 128×64 pixel graphic display and a new addition to ELECTRONIC ASSEMBLY's EA DOGM series. It features pins for quick and easy installation, 7 different optional LED backlights, and can be combined with 5 different display technologies, offering up to approximately 20 different designs. This modern LCD series is designed for compact handheld devices and offers numerous advantages with or without backlight: extremely compact (55×46mm) with a large 51×31mm viewing area, ultra-thin (2.0mm without backlight module, only 5.8mm with backlight module installed), serial SPI interface (4-wire), single supply +3.0V or +3.3V, typical power consumption of only 270μA in full operation (white LED backlight starting from 5mA), easy solder installation, multiple design variants available for single-unit ordering, and changeable backlight color. Contrast can be set via command, and integrated temperature compensation keeps contrast constant across the entire operating temperature range (-20...+70°C).
