Introduction

This chemical compatibility test kit is used to evaluate the chemical compatibility of materials with LEDs under specific temperature conditions. The kit contains various Cree LED models, such as MX-6, XHP, and XP-E. The test materials are designed to detect VOCs that can damage LEDs in sealed environments. Different LED models require specific constant drive currents — for example, 350mA for the MX-6 and 700mA for the XHP and XP-E. The operating procedure is also described, including placing test materials, applying adhesive, and connecting the current supply. The test is run for 1000 hours to observe changes in LED intensity and/or color.
