Introduction

Neon lamp indicator, no built-in resistor. When connecting a neon lamp to a circuit with one side grounded, always connect the hot side of the circuit to the terminal marked + (center contact). The omnidirectional lens is molded from high heat-resistant plastic and radiates light in all directions. Its thick walls are reinforced by a threaded brass insert, which is used to mount the lamp and threads into the internal thread of the bushing. The bulb extends deep into the plastic lens for effect. Whether used for front or rear insertion assemblies, the lens can be easily removed from the panel front for lamp replacement. Materials and finish: Mounting bushing is brass with black nickel finish; white nickel or chrome finish available as options. Mounting bushing is brass with white nickel or chrome finish. Mounting nut is brass with white nickel finish. Flange nut is brass with black nickel finish; white nickel or chrome finish available as options. Internal tooth lock washer is phosphor bronze with white nickel finish. Terminals are brass, hot-dip tinned, with elongated slots. A 15/32-inch clearance hole is required for front or rear panel mounting using a removable flange insert. Maximum panel thickness is 1/4 inch.
