Introduction

The EA DOGL128-6 is a 128x64 pixel graphic display and a new member of ELECTRONIC ASSEMBLY's EA DOGL series. It features pins for quick and easy installation, offers 6 different optional LED backlights, and can be combined with 5 different display technologies, enabling up to approximately 20 different design variants. This modern LCD series is designed for compact handheld devices and offers numerous advantages with or without backlight, including: extremely compact dimensions (68x51 mm) with a large 64x36 mm viewing area; ultra-thin profile — 2.8 mm without backlight module, only 6.5 mm with backlight module installed; serial SPI interface (4-wire); single supply +3.0 V or +3.3 V, or dual supply +1.8..3.3 V; typical current consumption of only 320 µA in full operating mode (white LED backlight from 5 mA); easy solder-mount installation; multiple design variants orderable in single-unit quantities with interchangeable backlight colors. Contrast can be set via command, and integrated temperature compensation maintains consistent contrast across the full operating temperature range (-20..+70°C).
