Introduction

Lens for visual alarm/warning devices, made from optical-grade polycarbonate, designed specifically for emergency or hazard signaling applications and suitable for general signaling as well. Compatible with a variety of LED light sources, including COB LEDs and power LED arrays. Suitable gaskets made from silicone can be provided upon request to offer a degree of IP protection. The PLL2112 offers high resistance — IK testing conducted by Khatod laboratories demonstrates it can withstand impacts up to IK10 rating. The optical properties and matte finish on the lens surface ensure uniform beam distribution from the LED light source, guaranteeing even light spread. The PLL2112 lens comes in a standard configuration of clear polycarbonate with matte finish. Other transparent colors and opal are also available for customization subject to minimum order quantity requirements. The PLL2112 lens can be tested using the compatible KHS111 heatsink; however, designing a custom heatsink is recommended, as the KHS111 housing is too tall relative to the lens base. The following pages present results achieved with various LED light sources: COB LED with 13mm LES; COB LED with 19mm LES; Acriche module; array of 8 power LEDs mounted on a cylindrical bracket.
