Introduction

Ultra-high-brightness green source color devices are made with GaP green LEDs. High-efficiency red source color devices are made with GaAsP on GaP orange LEDs. Yellow source color devices are made with GaAsP on GaP yellow LEDs. Ultra-high-brightness red source color devices are made with AlGaAs red LEDs. Ultra-high-brightness yellow source color devices are made with DH InGaAlP LEDs on GaAs substrates. Blue source color devices are made with GaN on SiC LEDs. Electrostatic discharge and surges can damage LEDs. It is recommended to use wrist straps or anti-static gloves when handling LEDs. All equipment, instruments, and machinery must be grounded.
