As part of the SurfLight™ product portfolio, the VSMY98545 is an infrared 850 nm LED based on surface-emitting technology, featuring high radiant power and high speed in a low thermal resistance SMT package with lens. A 42-mil die provides excellent low forward voltage, allowing the device to operate at DC currents up to 1.5 A.
