Broadcom HSM8‑C320 is a top-view SMT infrared LED in the industry-popular 0603 package. This IR LED integrates an optical lens to narrow the beam, providing a very small viewing angle that minimizes crosstalk and enhances axial radiant intensity. The narrow viewing angle enables efficient optical coupling with secondary optical elements such as light guides and light pipes. The product has a peak wavelength of 850 nm.
