Introduction
PDI - E838 is a dual-drive line, dual-emitter pulse oximeter component. 660nm and 880nm GaAlAs infrared emitters are housed in a low-cost ceramic SMT package with an epoxy dome encapsulation. The LEDs are individually biased through bias pins with alternating polarity.
