Introduction

Each device in the OP165 and OP166 series is a high-intensity GaAs infrared LED, packaged in IR-transmissive clear epoxy with either a dome or flat lens. These devices feature narrow and wide radiation patterns and a variety of electrical characteristics. The compact T-1 package makes them ideal for space-constrained applications. The OP166 series devices are mechanically and spectrally matched to the OP505 and OP535 series devices.
