Introduction

Our HIS550R-0 is a thermal radiation source based on a nickel-chromium filament, housed in a TO39 package with a gold-plated reflector that redirects radiation emitted from the rear of the filament toward the front, nearly doubling our optical output power. This open-type radiation source delivers high performance across a wide spectral measurement range.

Features

HISbasic series radiation sources integrate gold-plated reflectors to direct rear-emitted radiation toward the front for maximum efficiency.
All radiation sources provide minimum drift at constant resistance (ohmic).
Infrasolids IR radiation sources feature a very low temperature coefficient of resistance. As a result, hot and cold resistance are nearly identical, simplifying the electrical control of IR sources.
Patented nanostructured radiating elements deliver up to 500% more detection signal!
Lower radiating element temperature of 600°C extends service life!
