Introduction

These products are miniature receivers for infrared remote control systems. A PIN diode and preamplifier are assembled on a lead frame, with an epoxy package serving as an infrared filter. The demodulated output signal can be directly decoded by a microprocessor. The HS0038BD is compatible with all common infrared remote control data formats and can suppress almost all spurious pulses generated by energy-saving fluorescent lamps. This component is not certified to automotive specifications.
