Introduction

This document describes the bin and label naming conventions for the CBT-90 LED product, as well as the orderable bin kits available for each part. Parts from each production run have a performance distribution in terms of luminous flux and wavelength or chromaticity. To guarantee specific performance to customers, each device is measured and subsequently sorted into bins by luminous flux and wavelength or chromaticity. Each individual package or part reel contains only one combination of luminous flux and wavelength or chromaticity bins. In addition, bins are combined into orderable bin kits, which include a selection of luminous flux and wavelength or chromaticity bins to simplify the ordering process.
