Introduction

RGB LED strip lights are flexible circuit boards with full-color LEDs, available in analog and digital types. Analog strips have all LEDs connected in parallel — the entire strip can be set to a single color, but individual LED colors cannot be controlled; they are simple to use and low cost. Digital strips have a chip per LED, allowing independent color control of each LED, but at higher cost. The analog RGB LED strip measures 10.5mm wide, 3mm thick, and 100mm long per segment, featuring transparent waterproof molding with a 3M adhesive backing. Each segment supports a maximum of 12V 60mA, contains 3 common-anode RGB LEDs with wavelengths of 630nm/530nm/475nm, and requires no MCU or chip controller.
