Introduction
This flexible silicone neon-like LED strip closely resembles neon lighting, but requires no expensive transformers, glass tubes, or inert gases. It is super flexible and bendable, using a single-color non-addressable LED strip paired with a large piece of translucent silicone rubber as a diffuser. The silicone material forms a rugged, durable, waterproof enclosure — while not suitable for submersion or prolonged outdoor exposure, it holds up well for outdoor projects such as costumes, bicycle lighting, or holiday decorations. The strip is 1 meter long with two power leads; apply 9V (bright) to 12V (very bright) and it lights up with no soldering required. This is not a "NeoPixel" LED strip — it can only be switched on or off as a whole, with no individual LED control or color changing. The silicone sleeve and LED strip can also be cut to length.
