Introduction

Luminus large-chip LEDs benefit from a series of innovations in chip technology, packaging, and thermal management. These breakthroughs enable lighting engineers and designers to achieve high-brightness, high-efficiency solutions. Luminus's photonic lattice technology provides uniform luminance across the entire surface of large-area LED chips. For red, green, and blue LEDs, the photonic lattice structure extracts more light than conventional LEDs and produces a more collimated radiation pattern. The Luminus SST-90 LED features a junction-to-case thermal resistance of 0.64°C/W — the lowest in the market — enabling the LED to be driven at higher current densities while maintaining low junction temperatures, resulting in brighter illumination and longer service life. Luminus large-chip LEDs undergo rigorous environmental and mechanical stress testing, achieving extremely low failure rates with a median lifetime typically exceeding 60,000 hours. All large-chip LED products manufactured by Luminus are RoHS compliant and free of hazardous substances such as lead and mercury.
