Introduction

This series comprises 0.56-inch (14.22 mm) digital display modules with built-in M5450 MOS ICs. The IC incorporates serial data input, a 35-bit shift register, 34 LED driver outputs, and brightness control functionality. Bright red, yellow, and green devices use GaP chips fabricated on transparent GaP substrates. Red-orange and high-efficiency red devices use GaAsP chips fabricated on transparent GaP substrates. The MOS IC is manufactured using N-channel silicon-gate technology. The bright red display features a black panel with red segments. Green and yellow displays feature a gray panel with white segments. The red-orange display features an orange panel with orange segments. The high-efficiency red display features a red panel with red segments.
