Introduction

SK6812RGBW is an intelligent LED light source with a built-in control circuit and light-emitting circuit, housed in a 5050 LED package. Each light-emitting element serves as one pixel, with pixel intensity encoded in the smart digital interface input. The output is driven by patented PWM technology, ensuring high color consistency across pixels. The control circuit incorporates a signal reshaping and amplification circuit, an integrated constant-current circuit, and a high-precision RC oscillator. The data protocol uses a single-wire NRZ communication mode. 32-bit data is transmitted from the controller to the DIN of the first device; upon reception, data is extracted pixel by pixel. After internal data latching, the remaining data is forwarded from the DO port to the next pixel via the internal amplification circuit. Pixels reset after DIN signal termination. Automatic signal reshaping and retransmission technology ensures that the number of cascadable pixels is limited only by signal transmission speed. This LED features low drive voltage, high brightness, wide scattering angle, excellent consistency, low power consumption, and long service life. The control circuit is integrated above the LED.
