Introduction

T69 is a four-channel LED driver IC integrating a microcontroller digital interface, data latches, and LED driver circuits. Via an external microcontroller, independent grayscale adjustment and daisy-chain control of individual LEDs can be achieved, making it suitable for full-color dot-matrix display products. The data protocol uses single-wire return-to-zero (RZ) communication. After power-on reset, the LED receives data from the DIN port; upon receiving 32 bits of data, it begins forwarding data through the DO port to provide input for the next LED in the chain. Prior to forwarding, the DO pin holds low, during which the LED does not accept new data. The OUTG, OUTR, OUTB, and OUTW PWM output ports generate signals with duty cycles corresponding to the received 32-bit data, at a signal frequency of 4 KHz. When a reset signal is applied to DIN, the LED latches the received data to the display output and resumes accepting new data after the signal ends. After receiving the initial 32 bits of data, subsequent data is forwarded via the DOUT port. Prior to receiving a reset code, the OUTG, OUTR, OUTB, and OUTW pins maintain their current output states unchanged; upon receiving a low-level reset code lasting more than 80 microseconds, the LED outputs the most recently received 32-bit PWM data to the OUTG, OUTR, OUTB, and OUTW pins.
