Introduction

The uLCD-28PTU module delivers exceptional quality and craftsmanship in the compact LCD space, featuring a 2.8-inch display with 240x320 resolution — an ideal size for rendering detailed graphics in a wide range of interactive touch applications. Powering the display and peripherals is the PICASO processor, a highly capable chip that enables standalone operation and can be programmed using the 4D Systems Workshop 4 IDE. Since this IDE is purpose-built for 4D graphics processors, it allows graphical solutions to be developed quickly and with ease. The module offers a comprehensive feature set, including PWM audio output, touch detection, microSD card storage, Li-battery support, general-purpose I/O, serial communication, I²C interface, and multiple millisecond-resolution timers.
