Introduction

The EA eDIP series displays are the world's first displays with integrated intelligence. In addition to various integrated fonts usable down to the pixel level, a wide range of sophisticated graphic functions are provided. The displays operate immediately at 5V supply voltage, are controlled via one of three integrated interfaces (RS-232, SPI, or I²C), and are "programmed" using high-level language-style graphic commands — eliminating the need for time-consuming programming of character sets and graphic routines. With an optional touch panel, the ease of use significantly reduces development time.
