Introduction

HS204A is a character-type LCD module capable of displaying 4 rows × 20 characters, with each character formed by a 5×8 dot matrix character block set. It is assembled on a PCB using a character-type LCD, the controller/driver main IC Sple780 (or compatible chip) and its extended driver IC SPLC100 (or compatible chip), along with a small number of resistors, capacitors, and structural components. Manufactured using COB technology, it features a robust structure and long service life. The HS204A operates on a 5V or 3.3V supply voltage, and is available in STN yellow-green film, blue film, and FSTN options. LED backlight is available as an option, and users may select standard temperature, wide temperature, or ultra-wide temperature versions as required.
