Introduction

ELECTRONIC ASSEMBLY's EA DOG series introduces the world's first display series that operates on 3.3V systems without an auxiliary power supply. This modern LCD series is designed for compact handheld devices, measuring 66×40mm with a standard font size of 4.8mm, 2.0mm thick without backlight, and 5.8mm with LED backlight. Available in 4 different technologies (STN and FSTN) with 3 backlight color options. To operate, sandwich the display and corresponding backlight together, insert into the PCB and solder, ensuring the protective film is removed. Contrast can be set via commands, and the controller features 3 built-in character sets.
