Introduction

The IF-E98 is a high-speed red LED in a "connectorless" plastic optical fiber package. The IF-E98 output spectrum is produced by a GaAlAs chip with a peak wavelength of 650nm, which is one of the optimum transmission windows of PMMA plastic optical fiber. The device package features an integral microlens and precision-molded PBT housing to ensure efficient optical coupling with standard 1000μm core plastic optical fiber cable.
