Introduction

IF-E97 is a high optical output visible red LED in a "connector-less" plastic fiber optic package. The output spectrum is generated by a GaAlAs chip with a peak wavelength of 650 nm, which is one of the optimal transmission windows for PMMA plastic optical fiber. The device package features an internal microlens and a precision-molded PBT housing to ensure efficient optical coupling with standard 1000 μm core diameter plastic optical fiber cables.
