Introduction

This Dell 407-BCDU compatible SFP+ optical transceiver delivers 10GBase-SR throughput, enabling data transmission up to 300 meters over multimode fiber (MMF) via an 850nm wavelength with LC connectors. The transceiver is guaranteed to be 100% compatible with the equivalent Dell optical transceiver. This easy-to-install, hot-swappable transceiver has been programmed, uniquely serialized, and tested for data traffic and application performance to ensure proper initialization and equivalent operation. Digital Optical Monitoring (DOM) functionality is also integrated, providing access to real-time operating parameters. This transceiver is compliant with the Trade Agreements Act (TAA). ProLabs transceivers are RoHS compliant and lead-free.
