This IBM-compatible 45W0500 SFP+ optical transceiver delivers 8GBase-SW Fibre Channel throughput, supporting distances of up to 150 meters over multimode fiber via LC connector at an 850nm wavelength. The transceiver is guaranteed to be 100% compatible with equivalent IBM optical transceivers. This easy-to-install, hot-swappable transceiver has been programmed, uniquely serialized, and tested for data traffic and application performance to ensure consistent initialization and operation. It meets or exceeds IBM specifications and complies with MSA standards for seamless network integration. This transceiver is TAA compliant, and ProLabs transceivers are RoHS compliant and lead-free.
