Introduction

This 720998-001 compatible SFP+ transceiver delivers 10GBase-SR throughput over multimode fiber (MMF) using an 850nm wavelength and LC connectors, with a maximum reach of 300 meters. It is guaranteed to be 100% compatible with the equivalent HP transceiver. This easy-to-install, hot-pluggable transceiver is programmed, uniquely serialized, and tested with data traffic and applications to ensure it initializes and performs the same functions. Digital Optical Monitoring (DOM) support is also included to allow access to real-time operating parameters. This transceiver complies with the Trade Agreements Act (TAA). ProLabs transceivers are RoHS compliant and lead-free.
