Introduction

This HP 817040-B21 compatible QSFP+ transceiver delivers 40GBase-SR4 throughput over multimode fiber (MMF) using an 850nm wavelength MPO connector, with a transmission distance of up to 150 meters. It is guaranteed to be 100% compatible with the equivalent HP transceiver. This easy-to-install, hot-pluggable transceiver is programmed, uniquely serialized, and tested with data traffic and applications to ensure consistent initialization and performance. Digital Optical Monitoring (DOM) support is also included, providing access to real-time operating parameters. This transceiver complies with the Trade Agreements Act (TAA). ProLabs transceivers are RoHS compliant and lead-free.
