This HP AP783A compatible SFP+ optical transceiver module delivers 8GBase-SW Fibre Channel throughput, supporting transmission distances up to 300 meters over multimode fiber (MMF) using an 850nm wavelength, with an LC connector. The product is guaranteed to be 100% compatible with equivalent HP optical transceiver modules. This easy-to-install, hot-pluggable transceiver has been programmed, uniquely serialized, and tested for data traffic and application performance to ensure it initializes and performs the same functions. It is manufactured to meet or exceed HP specifications and complies with MSA (Multi-Source Agreement) standards for seamless network integration.
